Fishing just got a whole lot easier. The Fish mate is a unique gimbal style fishing harness with a fully adjustable neck strap. The rod inserts firmly into the end of the shaft and comes with 2 interchangeable end caps to suit most rods. The rod easily fits into place and can be easily removed for casting but firm enough to prevent a fish from taking it in most cases. It has a ball joint at the base of the shaft to allow you to easily maneuver the fish once hooked. The Fish Mate is made to order right here in South Australia by Mongrel Fishing Tackle. The main strap around the waist comes with a clip-on strap that is clipped on at the back however we can place the clips on either the left or right to your requirements as a special order. When you purchase your fish mate it comes with two specially designed interchangeable end caps to suit most rods.
